Hi there! I’m really glad you’re here 😊.
This little corner of the internet is where I share my journey as a growing environment artist—my experiments, my inspirations, and the worlds I’m learning to create 🌱🎮. I try to keep things relaxed and genuine, so feel free to explore at your own pace. Whether you’re another artist, a student, or someone who simply enjoys game worlds, I hope you find something here that feels comforting, inspiring, or sparks a bit of curiosity ✨💭.
My path as a junior environment artist has been a steady blend of curiosity, experimentation, and personal growth. Moving abroad to eastern Canada for my BA in game development pushed me outside my comfort zone ✈️, but it also opened up new perspectives and creative influences 🎨. Here, I’m learning to balance the technical side of environment design—software workflows, optimization, and efficient pipelines—with the artistic challenges of atmosphere, storytelling, and building worlds that feel alive. Every project reveals another layer of how games are made and reminds me how much intention lies behind even the smallest details ✨.
What I didn’t expect was how much my new environment would shape my artistic voice. Being surrounded by fresh landscapes, architecture, and cultural styles has made me more observant 👀, and these experiences naturally filter into my work. Collaboration has also become a key part of my growth 🤝; receiving feedback from classmates with diverse backgrounds pushes me to refine my ideas and explore new creative angles. Overall, this journey feels less like simply completing a degree and more like discovering who I am as an artist while steadily developing the technical skills to support that vision.
